What is the difference between SAP EWM and SAP WM?
SAP WM is the classic warehouse management for simpler warehouses. SAP EWM is the more feature-rich solution with handling units, resource control and connection to automation. Which one fits depends on your warehouse. We clarify this in the free initial call.
What does MFS mean?
MFS stands for material flow control. With it, SAP EWM controls automated systems such as automated warehouses, conveyor systems, automated guided vehicles and robots directly from the SAP system.
Do I need middleware for equipment control?
No. The connection runs directly through MFS in SAP EWM. Separate middleware is not needed, which saves interfaces and operating costs.
What is Embedded EWM in SAP Cloud ERP?
Embedded EWM runs in the same system as the ERP (S/4HANA). Warehouse and business processes use the same data, there are no separate systems and fewer interfaces.
What does it cost to get started with SAP EWM?
The initial call is free. After that there are consulting packages: preliminary study from €6,000, high-level concept from €12,000 and detailed concept with blueprint from €50,000. All prices plus VAT, the final scope follows after the initial call.
