SAP S/4HANA Finance (Enterprise Management)
Finance is one of the most important components of a company’s SAP system. Especially in companies where logistics and the associated export of goods takes place, financial accounting and controlling takes on a supporting role. In order to comply with important legal guidelines at all times, several checks must be carried out daily to ensure the accuracy of data.
These are possible with the Finance module in SAP S/4HANA, in conjunction with the fast SAP HANA database required for this.
SAP S/4HANA Finance, can be implemented locally (on-premise), in the cloud, or in a hybrid model.
Accelerate financial closings, improve compliance and control, and reduce the effort and cost of closings – with SAP S/4HANA Finance accounting and financial closing processes.
Examples of fundamental changes in SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management.
- Debtors and creditors are replaced by business partners
- SD credit management is replaced by FSCM credit management
- New asset accounting and NewGL are mandatory
Asset Accounting
Asset accounting is integrated into the universal journal architecture under SAP S/4HANA – as a result, no redundant data exists. Multiple parallel documents are posted in real time for all valuations (HGB, IAS, US-GAAP, etc.) to ensure correct values from the start. Depreciation runs are now performed in line item postings.
